NIS question

So I just bought a Gateway 6020GZ Notebook (yes a Gateway - it was cheap so get off my back ) for my fiancee for school. Anyway, I installed Norton Internet Security 2005 Antispyware Edition, and everything is running great except one nagging little detail. When I boot up a message pops up briefly stating my computer may be vulnerable because NIS is not enabled. It is infact enabled, and everything functions as it should. It just bothers me. Not enough to reinstall (takes way too long to be worth it), but if anyone knows of a quick fix I sure would appreciate it.

Likely that's a warning from Windows SP2 Security Center, so you need to go into the Security Center and either turn off the warning or tell it that NIS is your firewall or antivirus (depending on which the warning is).
