No Run feature????

I installed Mozilla Firefox, then uninstalled it.

Now,when I attempt to open up a web site,I  go to start>run ,type in the web address, then  I get the following error message"windows cannot findfirefox.exe the program is needed for opening files of type'url:hypertext transfer protocol"

Any ideas how I can get this feature working again?

Thanks ,

Mike

Your file association was changed by Firefox. To change it back, follow these instructions:

    Thanks Osprey,

I'm still getting this error message "windows cannot find Firefox.exe"I tried to change the file extension for http, but it is not giving me a option to set it to default,

    should I re-install Firefox?

When I open internet explorer,it seems to work ok.

    Any help would be appreciated,

    TNX,

    Mike

If you can't reset it to default, just delete the file association. Then the next time you open a URL, Windows will ask what application you want to associate with that file type.

    Osprey,

    I re-installed Firefox-all seems ok,

Is Mozilla/Firefox a program you would recommend using

    Do you use it yourself?

    Thanks again,

    Mike

Yes, usually when navigating sites I'm not familiar with.
