Isn't telling me very much, in fact, the only thing it is telling me is the service tag and the day i ordered windows 7!
I ordered it 2 days ago, and the 'Estimated Ship Date', 'Shipper' and 'Status' columns are blank.
In the 'Description', the columns 'Status', 'Shipped', 'Delivered' and 'Tracking Number' are also blank.
Now, there can be 2 reasons for this.
1) My order is yet to be processed. After 2 days though i really doubt it, and if just happens to be the case, i suspect Dell really underestimated the demand, which seems illogical seen as they would have been aware to the number of users signing up to the program? Maybe the supply is inferior to the demand?
2) This information is not being updated. And since i didnt even get an E-Mail informing that windows 7 was now available for me to order, i suspect the same has happened to Order Status E-Mails. Does this mean that i have to expect windows 7 to arrive at any random time without my knowledge?
Seen as the page says, "Information is updated daily, so review regularly for any changes in status.", both reasons have credence. I thought seen as i ordered it at the weekend that the information wouldn't update, but now its Monday and there still isnt any change.
The site says "The availability date of the operating system will not be the same as the actual ship date for your kit. You will receive an e-mail when your kit actually ships".
So how are the dates in the link provided correct for the actual shipping date of our upgrade kits?
Same issue here and it is rather frustrating. I would like to see a response from dell regarding the timeline of the shipments of our operating system.

Thanks for the link first and foremost. Second, it doesnt say an actual shipping date, what it says is (if your recieving the english version) that the minimum that it will be shipped by is tomorrow, the maximum time isnt given. I expect it to be shipped within a week though with the other languages being shipped the next week and so on and so on, judging by the table.
I'm guessing this means that's when they start shipping, although there's probably some sort of order they have in sending them out (because of the high volume), so yours/mine won't necessarily ship today. I also still don't have an order status.
Jesse, is this correct? Do you have any general knowledge on the plans to ship the free upgrades (I "checked out" on the 22nd)? Thanks
