Outlook 2007. Error opening extend file.dat

Moved the file .pst from one computer to another, then Outlook stopped turning off, - when you click the exit button in the tray icon becomes black and white and does not disappear, when you try to start Outlook message POPs out: Failed to initialize the extension. Could not open the extend file.dat. It probably doesn't exist, you don't have permission to open it, or it's open in another program...How can I fix this problem?
Originally tried to import the data using the standard Outlook (File - Import and export), but this method does not copy the address book, fly settings, etc. In the end I decided to just copy the pst file entirely.

Check the properties of the PST file.  May have a notice that this file came from another computer.  If it does there is an option to allow or use the file (don't remember exact wording).

    That is one possibility.
