Using XP and Outlook Express vers. 6.

Having a lot of trouble moving old OE files to my new 4700.
Import function just doesn't work.

Would like to import all my old e-mail messages and files (like "Sent"), and also
my old newsgroup listings.

I thought vers 6 also uses *.dbx file nomenclature for this.
Am I right ?

Seeing that I can't get the importer to work, can I just place
these old .dbx files in the new OE folder and have it recognized and incorporated?

If so, which OE folder ?
Where is it located ?
