Printing problems with new Notebook
My HP 9800 worked fine with my Dell desktop machine running XP. I just got two new laptops i(Also running XP) and I can't get it to work consistently on either one of them.
I can print most documents (Word, Excel, Acrobat, etc.) as long as they are really small (one or twp pages). After that, I get errent page breaks and partial pages.
I have deinstalled and reinstalled the Hp Driver. Test pages print just fine.
Help.
- MRDonahue,I am having the same problem with my E1505/Kensington Expansion port and an HP Laserjet 6P.My documents print fine on a USB Deskjet 5650, but randomly fail in the same way you described when sent to the 6P.Have you had any success solving the problem?

I got a USB cable and am now able to use the printer. It still won't work using the printer port on the Kensington Dock I bought from Dell for just this purpose.
