If you did what I think you did, changing DPI only changes the number of dots per inch in the screen font, not on the printout.

What software are you using to print from? If it's Word, choose a bigger font size in the list on the toolbar next to the name of the font. And make sure there isn't some option box checked that says something like "shrink to fit on one page" or similar...

Check to make sure you have the correct printer driver installed too.

Thanks. I print Web pages from Windows. I go to print preview and it had "Shrink to Fit" but in order to get that off you have to pick one of the percents instead or custom. I tried all of them and the bigger you make the percent, the text goes off the page and you don't get all of it.

What should this setting be?

All I want is the printing to have a bigger text. Why is'nt the text the same size of the web pages when I print from? It is so much smaller than what I am printing from.

If the pages are too wide, try setting it to print "Landscape" instead of "Portrait" on the paper. That should allow you to print at higher size percentage.

If you only want a portion of a web page, try highlighting that bit, copying and pasting it into a Word doc or Notepad, etc.

It can't be the same size if you've got it set "shrink to fit". You either have to try printing landscape on the paper or accept that some text will run off the edge of the page.

Guess those sites are 'printer-unfriendly'. Some sites have a button to create 'printer-friendly' printout so look for that on these pages.

I've just updated to IE 7 and I now wish I hadn't, as I now have this problem,when I print something like an invoice from ebay the printing is so tiny i can hardly read it. Have tried adjusting printer settings to no avail. Hope someone can help.

I have tried everything! I even wrote to IE and got nothing.I have been emailing with HP for days now and everything they tell me to do does'nt work. I do like the IE 7 though. I don't want to go back to the IE 6.

I hope they figure something out!
