Problems opening Forms...Adobe and Excel

I purchased a Inspiron 660 S Desktop...with Windows 8.I love it,but I am having trouble opening forms sent to me .If Adobe it comes up as an error....even my tax form On the PayPal web site couldn't be opened.I uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe...no luck. Pretty much the same deal with  Excel....HELP....Thank you....Mark

    Hi Mark,

    Try using a different browser and see if that makes a difference. Please let me know the file extensions that is not getting opened on your system. To check the file extension:

    • Right click on the file and click on 'Properties'.
    • Click on 'Details' tab and you will get a similar windows as shown below:
    • Please check and let me know the file name (Paste a screen shot, if possible)
       
    Which version of Microsoft office is installed on your system? Try repairing it from 'Programs and features':
     
    • Press start key on the keyboard.
    • Type 'Programs and features'.
    • A list of the searched results will be displayed.
    • Select 'Programs and features'.
    • A list of all the programs/applications installed on your system will open.
    • Look for Microsoft office.
    • Right click on it and click on 'Repair'.
    • Follow the on screen instructions to repair it.
       
    Please reply with the findings.
