this is not for me-for my friend who doesn't know much about computers. Last summer she bought Vostro 200 with vista home basic with SP1. she wants to go back to this computer's original state when it was bought, because it's very slow now-probably lots of garbage in it.  i know that Vista computers have a partition " recovery" or something, and I was told to start from it. But that's all I know about Vista. Please tell me in details which steps to take to take this computer back to day one. thanks
