Right click shortcut menu changed

When I double click my mouse to open a folder (such as My Pictures or My Documents) it goes into search mode instead of opening. Somehow my shortcut menu got changed around, and when I right click on the mouse to bring up the menu, the search option is first and in bold, and then the open option is underneat it. How do I reset my menu so that it automatically opens when I double click?

Go to the link below, and under Fixes for Windows XP scroll down to

"Search opens when double clicking a folder.

Not sure what to do. Am I suppose to do this from the command prompt? Would appreciate if you could walk me through this. Thank you.

spankster96,here are instructions pick the kind of file your fix is for. To use the Regedits:  Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.

To use the VBS Files: Download .vbs file and save it to your hard drive (you may want to right click and use Save Target As).  Double click  the vbs file. You will be prompted when the script is done.
