saving bookmarks

running winxp... upgrading to new puter , how do I save my favorites to a file, to add them to vista.

and how in outlook do I save the address book to a file to add to vista

Open Internet Explorer. Select File -> Import and Export. This will start the "Import and Export" wizard.

Select Export and the click on "next."

Select Favorites and click on "next."

In the next window you can accept the default Save Directory or choose a new one. I suggest you select Desktop so you can easily find the file again. Click on "next."

Finally, click on finish. Then save the files to a disc or usb attache.

To place the favorites back on the new computer, go to Internet Explorer and select File>Import and Export. Select Import and click on next. Just follow the prompts.
