Vista and photoshop elements 5.0 issue HELP!

I resently installed elements 5.0 on my new Vista laptop and for some strange reason it wont allow me to save any of the picture i load into the program as .jpg's. Any ideas why?

    Try changing the default directory that it saves them to.

    If you do reinstall it, uninstall it first then right click on the installer and choose properties and then compatibility tab, choose XP sp2 hit ok.
     
    If it is on CD, copy the entire contents of the cd to a folder then use compatibility mode.

    I have never used that software, but all of them have a setting somewhere to set the save folder.
     
    You can do a "Save as" then choose the location, but this will have to be done evey time.
     
    It is possible that 5.0 is not Vista compatible also.

    hm, I would hope it is compatable... All the other save types works though, just not jpegs. Could maybe unistalling and re-installing work?

    Hi, Did you install the Adobe Photoshop elements patch for Vista?

    Wow, now thats support!
     
    They actually make older software compatible with Vista, one of the few that do I bet.
