Vista Upgrade

I'm thinking about upgrading my desktop, but I don't want to drop another $200 when vista comes out in two months. Will there be a low cost upgrade?

    The only issue with the beta it is still timed for home use. There was going to be RC2, but I guess that went to the way side.

    It is up in the air right now. Vista is not due out unitl Feb 2007.
     
    If you have XP home or Pro, I would not worry about any upgrades.  Again, Vista is a new release and from previous versions from Microsoft, you know it takes about a year to get all the bugs out. FYI.

    Not quite sure if you mean if you mean dropping $200 on the OS or equipment.   The Beta is still free and is pretty stable.  From what I have been told, there will only be one disc pressed.  Not one disc for all six or seven versions. 
     
    If you want to start with the basics then fine you can install those and if you want to go to Ultimate, then you can pay more.

    Can someone tell me can we get free upgrade to Vista if the system was purchased from Dell Outlet?????

    I search the forum, but did not find any answers.

    I wanted to get a xps410 from the outlet.
