XP DEVICE MANAGER
After doing a complete reinstall of XP, in Device manager under other devices there is a yellow question mark for Multimedia Audio Controller. Dont know what this is. Maybe my inboard audio. I'm using a Sound Blaster Xtreme card. My audio is fine. Maybe my video. I'm running dual monitors, a 17 inch reg and a new 21.5 Dell wide screen with built in webcam but both work fine. My all in one printer works fine and my Kodak printer dock works fine. I think I need a driver for something but unsure what....... It's not important but it wasn't there before I reinstalled.XP when I click on it says..... Location.....PCI bus 0, device 30, function 2..........then the status says........The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)...To reinstall drivers for this device, Click reinstall drivers.......... Naturally this does not work and I dont know what drivers they are taking about. What is this device?

Checked again for the driver for built in audio and this time it worked. Don't know what I was trying before but it must not have been right. The Sound Max program came up when I got it to install. No more yellow ? in device manger. I never had to go the chip-set route. I use a sound card anyway but that yellow mark was drivin me nuts
