mscoree.dll file missing and unable to find .netinstaller framework.  Tried to install from disc or Microsoft but install fails.  Cannot install programs for start my norton.  Antivirus scan from norton and housecall came back good, but my norton autoprotect won't run.  Can anyone help me here please.  Don't know what to do.  Thanks for all replys.  Chris.

    Try re-installing Norton.

    Or possibly a System Restore back to a time when the pc was working ok.

    mscoree.dll is the core system file for the .NET framework. Still not quite sure why Norton software needs this.

    You probably need to reload .NET framework again on your computer at:
