What happens if we install same BIOS version twice through OS command line?

Installing BIOS through BIOS_BIN -q, sometimes BIOS upgrade requires reboot. without rebooting if I try to install BIOS (doing again BIOS_BIN -q). does it cause any issue?

Windows OS should not allow you install it twice. If tried, it should ask you to restart the PC.

@DELL-Chris M  I am specifically asking about RHEL Linux OS (https://dl.dell.com/FOLDER12168095M/3/BIOS_PJYMD_LN64_2.4.4_02.BIN)

The actual BIOS update is OS ambivalent because it happens before any OS boot.
