Bright spot
I've had my XPS for about 5 years. Within the last month, the screen developed a white spot in the right, bottom corner (see picture). The brighter of the spot is getting larger. The computer has not been drop or hit. What is going on?bright spot-bottom corner

Thanks. I kinda figured it may be on its last legs. The bright area on the bottom is getting bigger. I'll keep working with this computer until I can't see anything anymore!

Whatever the cause -- could be thermal or pressure damage -- the display needs to be replaced to solve the problem.
