When installing I attached the black to the white and vice versa. However my connectors did not snap into place. So I had to screw them down using the card covering plate. 

My laptop detects the card, but strength is very good when close to router but non existent from my office desk. Worse than the killer 535 card it replaced. 

 

Any ideas? All drivers, bios etc has been updated via dell support assist tool.
