My XPS-15 does not recognize the ASUS SDRW-08U9M-U DVD Drive. Plugging into either the Thunderbolt 4 Type-C or the USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, there is no difference. I hear the computer recognize a connection but there is no action. If I plug it into my Anker multiport hub the power light on the drive lights up but the drawer still does not open and the drive is not recognized. I see nothing in the file structure or in Device Manager. The USB ports recognize flash drives when I plug them in. The DVD drive works when I plug it into my Surface Go.

Very frustrating.
