My fingerprint sensor have been acting up since a September-ish windows update. It can recognize wrong fingers, but doesn't log in when the correct finger is used. (It seems to recognize it since the prompt flashes, but it just doesn't log in). Driver is stuck at 2.1.31.900 (March) no matter how I update it (the installs are always successful, but the version didn't change). Rolling back only made it worse - now it can't even tell my index and middle finger when I try to add the latter. Device manager says it's working fine. I tried most solutions suggested online - enabling or changing intel SGX setting, disable "turn off to save power", allow the device to log in, and restarting certification service. I have work to do so a clean windows reinstall is out of question. Dell haven't been getting back to me since my warranty worn off in August. Anybody having the same issue? Thanks a lot!
