I suspect message says AC adapter type is not determined or not recognized by computer. Check status of the AC adapter in BIOS to see if it's being detected.

Note: If adapter isn't detected, the computer will continue to receive power but will not charge the battery.

1. Power off computer

2. Power on computer, quickly start tapping F2 key continuously until you see BIOS menu.

Please remove the battery and ac adaptor.  Then press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.  Now wait for 2 minutes.  Please reconnect the battery and ac adaptor and power on the system

I`ll check the internal battery tonight when I get home from work.

Battery problem

The status of the AC adapter in BIOS should be listed in Battery Information. If you see AC adapter (130W) listed in BIOS and the battery is charging to 100% then it's a good chance nothing is wrong with adapter or battery. 

Note: Please wiggle the adapter's end while checking the status of the adapter. This step will help determine if indeed the DC Jack is damage.

Yes, that`s exactly what I see.

I disconnected the internal battery and powered it up just fine. It did recognise there was no battery so that`s working fine.
