Hi

I have the Dell XPS 9700 which is 3 years old. It came with 16gb RAM and 500Gb ssd.

I have purchased 64Gb Crucial RAM and 1Tb WD SN770 NVMe SSD. Also purchased thermal paste and thermal pads.

But when I was trying to open the fans, battery and heat sink; multiple screws head got blunt and I was not able to remove them. So I couldn't use the thermal paste and pads. 

Was able to successfully change the RAMs. But the heat sink on the SSD slot 1 (with the old SSD) could not be removed because the screws got blunt. Also I was able to remove only one screw on the empty SSD slot. So I have put my new 1Tb SSD on the 2nd slot.

Now question is :

1) How do I clone the data from Slot 1 (500Gb-old) to Slot 2 (1tb-new) (Any video will be appreciated)

2) How do I make the new Slot 2 (1tb-new) as the primary SSD to boot from

3) How do I completely delete data from slot 1 (500gb-old), so that there is no data left behind and I can use this old SSD for data storage only
