Volume Application Option in XMS 6.3
I need to create a new lun to attach to our VMWare environment and physical backup server. Apparently, after an upgrade, a new option exists named Application. What is this option use for? the user guide shows that it exists but doesn't explained what it does. Do I use "VMWare VM" or "Other" and why?

Which version did you upgrade from on your XtremIO? The application option should be part of app sync manager. Here is a link to the release notes for all newer features and fixes for XMS 6.3.
