Just received my Alienware R7 and first impressions are amazing. A huge step up in performance compared to my ancient R3.

However, after settling in with it and making some adjustments, removing bloatware etc I decided to go into the BIOS and enable my RAMs XMP mode.

I have XMP-1 enabled, saved changes. But everytime I load up Command Centre/OC Controls, it says XMP is disabled and also keeps asking for a reboot for OC to take effect. So rebooting and nothing changes. XMP is confirmed as disabled in the BIOS.

Though if I dont open Command Centre, XMP remains enabled in the BIOS.

I am using HyperX Single Channel DDR4 that should be running at 2933mhz with XMP. Naturally I want to use my RAMS highest speed.

CPUZ is showing my DRAM Frequency 1396.7mhz
