I am beyond upset. Spent $1,600 on Aurora R7. Within 30 days, Windows automatic update took place and the computer wouldn't reboot. I lost hundreds of images and hours of work. Customer service blamed the software and we had to do a complete re- installation. Computer worked ok after. Fast forward to today (2 months later), Windows updates, Drivers update, computer shuts off. I go to turn it on this morning and a bright red screen that says Secure Boot violation comes up. I call customer service and am on the phone for OVER 2 HOURS. He blames the software, runs a bunch of tests and has me go back and forth through reboot attempts, but it is much more than the software this time. It is definitely a hardware issue. I can't even get to a screen to restart the computer or wipe it clean anymore. I lost more work from this crash that I can't get back. You need to stand by your products. This is total garbage.
One comment on loss of data. Ever hear of backups? Backups are not for IF they are ever needed but for WHEN they are needed. I use my desktop for my recording studio and after every recording session I do a data backup in case there's a crash. Any PC vendor will not be responsible for data loss.

I backup my files every other day. I lost about 6 hours worth of work from just turning it off. I have multiple hard drive backups, all of which have copies of every photo and everything from my desktop. I also have backblaze running. So yes, I've heard of backups. This was simply one of those times where my edits got wiped out from the night before, which happened last time as well.
We tried everything, including disabling secure boot, and eventually tech support, after 2 hours, couldn't figure it out and has to send out a tech. I guess this is more of a PSA that after spending $1,600 on a desktop that was less than a year old and created by Dell, is a waste of money. The guy blamed software, however the last crash was due to software and we were able to wipe it clean and reset it. This time it won't even allow an option to wipe it clean and no changes made to the bios fix it, so to me this is hardware, not software.
Also frustrated knowing that whatever they do to fix it, will just postpone the next crash.

Sorry to hear of your problems. I can't speak for Dell as we are mostly users helping (or trying to help) users on this forum.
Are you able to get into the BIOS and disable secure boot?
