Restore P2V (Physical to Virtual)
Hi,
Is there a simple way to restore in VMware a system that was backed up as a whole with a windows agent x64 ?
Known as a P2V operation, most backup solutions provide this feature : restore a physical machine as a VM.
What are backup prerequisites ? I hope BareMetal is not required.
I'm using avamar 7.2 (AVE edition)

Okok, I boot on the BMR ISO after I created a VM identical to my physical machine, and it works ... assuming I had done a VSS backup before.
