Phishing email?

Is anyone at Dell interested in seeing a phishing email I received?  It was rather well done and included my customer and purchase ID and order number.  Only problem was that it was for an order that had already shipped.  I'm including some of the text from it below.

Thank you for choosing Dell! Please be advised that Dell is unable to process your recent
order(s) due to invalid or missing credit card information. It may be that the information provided does not match the credit card company's records. Please contact Dell at 1-800-571-3355 Ext 41-61316to provide this information so we can complete your order.

Please note that failure to contact us within 1 business day may result in cancellation of your order. To expedite the handling of your call, please have your order number (see below) when calling. We apologize for any inconvenience this additional security step may cause. Dell is committed to providing a safe and secure shopping experience for our customers.

Click the hyperlinked DELL-Cares username. On the right, click, "Send this user a private message". Share the private order number.

hmm, well I just received the order so the email doesn't seem to be valid.  I did also receive a call for the same issue as well as a second email.  When I called the number I wasn't connected to the extension and when I tried to leave a message it told me the mailbox wasn't valid.

Prior to this I had received an email telling me there was one step left to complete my order which I did click on.  It sent me to http://ud.ed10.net/ and I immediately closed my browser after seeing that .  The email was well formatted and appeared to come from Dell but did not have any identfying information in it.  Not sure if the 2 are related, maybe the first email was how they obtained the details of my order.

So anyway either this is a phishing attempt and they are hoping that I will answer the phone and give them my credit card info or something is messed up with the Dell processes.  My bank did require that I confirm that I had placed the order so perhaps this contact is based on a issue that was resolved on the 3rd and this rep isn't looking at the recent info.  I did verify last night with a call to the number posted on your site that there wasn't a problem with my order.  If there is something I can do to help with the issue I'd be happy to cooperate but it doesn't appear to be a problem for me and I'm going to ignore future contacts from this individual.

I didn't include it in the snippet in my first post but the rep's name as given in the emails is Navin.

I also got one of these emails after placing an order with Dell.

Subject: Just one step left to complete your purchase

    It also went to http://ud.ed10.net/.....

Then I got a voice mail asking me to call 800-571-3355 ext 4161316 (I know the caller ID can be faked so there's no need for me to mention it.)

I checked my order at Dell's website and everything was alright.

I WILL NOT reply to that email or call that phone number.

I called Dell's known number 877-819-3355 but I couldn't get through to a rep since it's Sunday and not a business day, however the automation stated that the order is being processed okay.

If this is phishing, then Dell's security is COMPROMISED.

When phone numbers are spoofed it's to give the caller the appearance of being someone that they aren't. Putting Dell's legitimate phone number in the spoof box would have no advantage to anyone trying to get your legitimate info.  Why, because the number they put in there goes right back to Dell.  This would be of no use the person trying to phish info. out of you.  You see what I mean?

You're fine, but that URL is bogus, click on it and you'll see.

    Chris,

I received a call from a similar number (1- 800 571 3355 Extn: 416****) and after attempting to resolve the status of this department I wanted to make sure this was the dell order verification department because it seemed highly suspicious. Would you be able to tell me if this call was from the order verification department.
