I have an Inspiron 5759 that has been having a display issue recently.  It obviously boots when I power it on; but nothing comes on the screen and he keyboard back light doesn't come on.  Occasionally both will work, but not usually. It's like it doesn't know the lid is open and the screen and keyboard remain in sleep mode while the laptop otherwise works fine.  Is there a way to turn the screen on permanently unless I power the machine off?
