Memory issue

My laptop is making 4 beep sounds when I switch-on it. Which means memory issue. How can I resolve it??

Open up the system and reseat the memory. If that does not help, and assuming you have more than 1 RAM module, take out 1 of the RAM modules and try again. If no change try the other RAM module. Then try 1 of the RAM modules in the other DIMM slot. If no change swap the modules and try again. If you can get the system to POST then at the Dell splash screen start tapping F12 and run full system diagnostics.

Also could you please post the model number of your system?
