I just put my system in your configuration.  I will keep an eye on it but could the Hotspot disconnects be due to your Host system going into a low power state?

If your hotspot won't work, ensure the internet works and you're entering the right password. You can also try disabling battery saver or low power mode or restarting your phone's Wi-Fi. If your phone's hotspot still won't work, then tethering or turning the phone on and off might help.

Well, even if host system goes into low power mode, it should automatically wake up or receive and send data for background services at least. It just shuts off, like the button is pressed ON but its says 0/8 devices connected with hotspot with my phone showing WiFi icon connected to hotspot but no data transfer. It is pretty weird. The laptop is Inspiron 15 3000 and mobile is iPhone 13 pro max. I would appreciate if someone finds out what could go wrong. It works fine while connected to any modem/router. Only mobile hotspot issue.

Bro tried all, it just turns off in the middle of the connection. It just turns off in the middle of nowhere. Seems there might be issue in the driver. Here is a link to couple threads with the same issue. but things should be clear from Dell and Intel both for smooth working.

I have an iPhone X and, as far as I can tell, the Wi-Fi drivers have not affected the connection, but I don't use it like you do.  Since, in your links the newer drivers seem but be involved, I suppose all you can do is roll it back.  If it asks why, give it the incompatible drivers response.

I left it all day and the only time it switched to another network was when the Host computer was asleep or off.  I think it did go back to the hotspot when I woke it up.  

I am wondering if there is something that keeps the host computer from going to sleep or low power mode, which the Hotspot is active.

The hotspot seems to indicate only 8 devices can be connected.

Do you leave the lid on the host system open or maintain it orientation to the Wi-Fi signal?

And I just noticed something else.  My system will show around 2300 Mbps receive and transmit rates on the Router.  If I turn on the Mobile Hotspot, the Receive rate drops to 6 Mbps.  The host system is using the 6 GHz radio to communicate with the router and the Hotspot is using the 5 GHz radio.

The bizarre part is when I roll back to the older drivers on a 200mbps connection, I can't  get more than 15 mbps on my iPhone with Laptop "Mobile Hotspot". As soon as I upgrade the drivers, the hotspot then keeps with the actual internet speed.

Well the lid is always open, all the problems are during laptop awake. Like you are working on your laptop with mobile hotspot on and all of a sudden this bizarre behaviour starts. My phone switches to Mobile Data because the hotspot does not work.

Even for this Low power thing, we don't want this level of POWER Saving  

Well,  how can the transmit rate drop from 6 Ghz to 5 Ghz band. It's all just not making sense. this issue of yours is a bit similar to the speed drop issue on old drivers.

You can do nothing on a 6 mbps transmit rate. Did you try connecting with 5Ghz? Also, they haven't yet enabled 6Ghz hotspot band on laptops. they should btw or maybe there are not so many common mobiles equipped with 6E system.

I had my phone on a mobile hotspot sponsored by a Dell laptop, for several hours yesterday and I saw no disconnects that were noticeable.

It appears, the dropping to 6 Mbps might be a glitch on my AXE16000 router since the hosting system shows normal speeds.  The mobile hotspot seemed to be stable. 

In case I misunderstood, is your phone dropping the connection to the Hotspot or is the Hotspot dropping the connection to your router, which causes the phone to disconnect?  And you have no other networks your phone can connect to when it loses the hotspot?

I have one more system which is a modern standby system so I will try that today.  It is, however, a Win 10 system.

My modern standby system did drop the hotspot when it went into low power mode.  When I tapped the space bar, it did come back with almost no effort.

What I might suggest now is to start timing certain events against what power settings you have for the system.   

I still do not have a guess as to why the newer drivers would cause you problems.  My modern standby is an older system that uses the 22.70.x.x driver version.

I am using my systems for music/video streaming only.   I have no experience with utilities that use two way audio, such as Teams or Skype.

Well, we'll have to wait for the improvements. Also i updated the windows version to 22H2. Still no improvements on the hotspot issue. Turns out I have to manually reconnect Wifi from my iPhone to work. That may a low power mode issue. but is should just wake up and function normally.

All the settings are on default except the "preferred band" which is set to 6Ghz. Even setting it to default does not make any difference.

I wish I could Have helped.  If it matters, I have never seen the 6 GHz band offered for Hotspot setup on any of my systems, it is not even listed.  Of course, my iPhone does not have the 6 GHz capability.  Maybe the 6 GHz was a typo.
