can we mix X400 with differents configuration
can you mix X400 series (isilon) on a same cluster but a part had some classical hard drive and some have mix with classical and SSD harddrive
thanks for your help !

Hello advanced,
A cluster can have a mix of node types, however in order for them to be included in the disk pool, there needs to be at least 3 of the same type of node/configuration. The Isilon Supportability and Compatibility Guide goes over more of this on page 35.

Correct. There are some cases where you can mix nodes in the same node pool, but there are specific rules and OneFS releases that apply. Mixing all HDD and mixed HDD and SSD is supported in the same node pool starting in 7.2.1, however if you do this, the nodes with all HDD will reduce the # of usable disks to match the # of HDDs on the mixed nodes so you may or may not want to do that. If you keep them in separate node pools (which means at least 3 of each type), then you don't have this effect.
Like I said, there are lots of rules. Check the documents and, if necessary, follow-up with your SE if you have questions.
