Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
Turn off any firewalls, anti-virus software or any other resource hog software you may have running in the background and then try the disk cleanup.

You may want to try this for a disk cleaner...the price is right {free} and it is quick...be sure to review settings in left hand pane before running for what you want to clean.....

If WinXP disk cleaner is the only process that is slow on your home PC I would not worry about it too much...may have to do with speed of processor/memory at home compared to work........if everything seems slow may want to start with defragmentation of your files...
