XPS 420 - Adobe Elements Studio
I have read in a number of places that this desktop ships with Adobe Elements Studio. Placed order by phone (UK Order) the other day and had to pay extra for Adobe Elements Studio.
Does anyone know if this is correct.
Thank you.

- That is correct, so far looks like only the US offers the adobe software package. Here in Canada we don't have that option at all, basically all the US customers get the best package/deals and prices on their systems. I was lucky enough to get my system configured through Dell US and recieved adobe and other options not offered in Canada.
Thanks for all this information.
Is there anyone else in the UK that has purchased an XPS420 that has not had to pay extra for Adobe Elememts Studio more recently 4 Jan 08.
Raven Evo - Did you ask for the software to be included or was the full version just on the machine when it was delivered. I have had to pay £50 for it. I know this is cheaper than in the shops but if others have got it for free then I need to get back to Dell.
Many Thanks
It was sold as part of the package i didnt ask about it spacifically but was aware i was getting it i have looked at the current xps 420 for £999 and the specs are different to what i got back then for starters the price has dropped they have added a monitor and gpu has changed to the 8800gt as opposed the the 8800gtx also the blue ray is read only i belive mine is a burner but havent tested it also the harddrive is only 500gig non raid mine was 1tb raid 0 hope this helps :/
I didn't get it with my system and I ordered on the 11 Jan 08. I am sure it was an option that I could have taken for I reckon about £50.
I just looked on the Dell UK site and it looks like only the 2nd most expensive one has it included. I can't see it as an option for the other 3.

I know in the USA it's part of the package. It's possible that it is different in the UK. I know another that posted a thread about something similar to this, as he had to pay extra also. His PC was in the UK. It could have something to do with licensing, maybe. I can't really think of any reason why some should get it as part of the deal and others have to pay.
