I just got my Dell 8600 two days ago and I've been playing around with it quite a bit.  I got Speedswtich XP on it and for some reason, it says that I have a Pentium-M (Banias) under Brand String.  Did Dell put in an older chip inside my computer even though I ordered one with 2 MB Cache?  Is there another way I can check this?  Thanks a bunch.
