C600 Battery charging problem

Hi Folks

I know that this has been covered before but I would really like an answer to this problem.

We are currently using the C600 in our company, some 200 of them in fact; the problems that we are seeing although not a show stopper are causing some of our users some concern.

Problem

The power meter is showing "100% remaining (Charging)", this is also the case when you go into the BIOS the battery shows 100% charged but battery status is "Charging".

The operating system is fully updated (XP SP2)

Thanks for looking.

That's all I've ever seen on any of the Latitude or Inspiron systems I have here, including a Lat C600 with XPSP2 and BIOS A23, so I'd have to surmise that it's a normal condition.  The batteries charge, they hold a charge when they're in good condition, and they work when they're supposed to.  No problem there.

I've had 3 C600 and all of them did the exact same thing. Take the battery out and put it in a C610 or C640 or a i8200 and the icon changes to "Fully Charged and or Running on AC". Put it back in the C600 and the icon says 100% charging with the lighting bolt.
