Unless I'm away from home I only use this computer a couple of times a day for maybe 15 minutes at a time.  This is the first notebook I have had in over 10 years.

 

It doesn't seem to make any sense to leave the notebook running all day like my desktop but will I be doing any potential damage by turning it off and on a few times a day?
