ok i have a dell xps m1730 laptop here video card is 2 cards NVIDIA GeForce 8700M GT in sli config , system also has a ageia phsyx accelerator card in it , but now nvidia bought them out but all these new video cards still support it with a software patch "NVIDIA PhysX System Software " so would i get the same results pulling the card out and loading that software so my video card does it all ?
software is here.. http://www.nvidia.com/object/ageia_8.04.25_whql.html

No. The Ageia card does a different job than the video card. It does it's calculations via the CPU, while the graphics cards have their own processors.

You've got a hardware solution, thanks to your Ageia PhysX card, and a hardware solution is invariably better than a software solution.
Why remove the hardware, just to replace it with software?
That video is advising anyone who doesn't already have an Ageia PhysX card, not to buy one, due to Nvidia's future plans for the product.
It doesn't apply to those of us who already own the card :smileywink:
