Help with 2407WFP

Hi,
 
 Just bought the XPS 710 and got the Dell 2407WFP.  My question....it's hooked up the DVI...when I go to the menu in display properties it won't let me change the the wide mode at all, it's at fill.  Is this correct and if not can someone help me adjust this?  I'm not playing any games on this, not sure where the setting are supposed to be.

    Use your vidio card drivers to adjust the way in which you want it.  eg. with nvidia, right click the desktop & select nvidia control panel (or right click the nvidia icon in task bar.
