Monitor ST230l power button

The power button on my dell st230l is not responding it has been like this since i purchased it.

I know it is my own fault for not doing anything about it,as it still works fine i just cannot switch it of by the power button. It just uses the powersave function

It is a touch type button on the right hand side on the front at the bottom,my monitor does not have an led as some i have seen.

My model was purchased from a catalogue.

Since it was not purchased directly from us (always risky!), you must contact UK Order Support. The Order Support agent will need to submit a Fusion request to the CTS Retail OPS queue to get a Dell Order number attaching you to the monitor. They will need the following information to fill out the form -
    Retail Store: KandCO
    Purchase date from Retail Store:
    Email:
    Name:
    Shipping Address:
    Phone Number:
    Monitor Model: ST2320L
Monitor 20 digit PPID number: CZ-OMP82K-73608-08U-1MJL
Reason: Retail Dell monitor purchase. Please create a Dell order number tying this monitor to this customer

I have the same problem.  The power button and the exit buttton have not been responding since I purchased it.  I didn't bother with it until recently I have to change the setting on the monitor, I can't exit on the menu.

My monitor is a STD2320L, purhcased directly from Dell along with the desktop system, and it's still under warranty.

    Please advise.
