Delete Save Set from Advanced File Device

Our tape drives are currently down and I need to know how to delete a save set from an advanced file device. Normally we keep two days of saved sets on disk and stage the third day to tape. Since our tape drives are not working, our disk is full and we will not be able to do a backup tonight to disk. If I can delete our old save sets then I will have room for tonight's backup.

Identify ssid/cloneid for that saveset via mminfo and delete it with nsrmm command then.

I got the ssid of the save set but what is the exact synatx for the nsrmm command.

I tried nsrmm -d 984193646 but this came back as nsrmm: 984193646 is not in the media index.

Probably because you used incorrect syntax: try nsrmm -dy -S 984193646/cloneid (where you still miss cloneid for given ssid).
