Hi,
We 've updated recently our infrastructure with Network 7.6.4.1 build 1049.
After that, wew notice some strange line in the daemon.raw of one type of client (Red Hat 5.3)
Here they are:

Anyone has experienced this kind of error? Backup work fine, but we have some problems with restore.

Hi Greg,
Please try restarting the client services once and also make sure there are no connectivity issues from the client to the server.
If restarting the services, first stop the services, then rename the folders tmp, jobsd and nsrladb folders followed by the services start script.
Let us know the update
Thank you

Hi Greg,
Also, since the issue is while restore, look like there is issue in retrieving the indexes.
Please attach the daemon.raw with all the lines in this regard so we can take a look.
Thank you

Hi,
So I stop the service networker on my client and rename the tmp and nsrladb folder. It seem that the log change a bit. Now I get for some lines:
Resource temporarily unavailable: Resource temporarily unavailable
No such file or directory: No such file or directory
Success: Success
and after (end of log)
Resource temporarily unavailable: Resource temporarily unavailable
No such file or directory: No such file or directory
Resource temporarily unavailable: Resource temporarily unavailable
Resource temporarily unavailable: Resource temporarily unavailable
Resource temporarily unavailable: Resource temporarily unavailable
Resource temporarily unavailable: Resource temporarily unavailable
Resource temporarily unavailable: Resource temporarily unavailable
Resource temporarily unavailable: Resource temporarily unavailable
Resource temporarily unavailable: Resource temporarily unavailable
I attached the log to this answer.
Thanks for your help. Backup and restore are working today well. Tuesday was the restore much longer (30 minutes without any activities, timeout). As far as I know, ther is no connectivity issue with this client.
Thanks.
Greg

Hi Greg,
As discussed already this seems to be a known issue as described in NW138952.
Workaround is to either downgrade to 7.6.3.x or wait until 7.6.4.2 is released (will be released in September).
Thank you.
Carlos.

Any news about the release date of 7.6.4.2 ?
I'm getting that error on all my Linux clients at version 7.6.4.1.

Hi Gregoire,
Thank you for the above details and the logs.
I was going through some documentation and the same issue was reported to engineering for correction of this NW version
I would suggest you to upgrade the NW version from 7.6.4.1 to 7.6.4.2.
That should solve the problem
Thank you
