I recently recieved a new XPS and I'm trying to get the bluetooh feature to work with my dell720 printer

I went thru all the printer setup for the IO Gear printer adapter and the computer recieves the signal from IO gear adapter, but I keep getting an error message  Communications Not Available (when I try to print} .  I went to cntrl panel and under Network Connections, the Bluetooth Network has a red X, and says network cable unplugged.

Any Ideas???
