Shipping Lithium Batteries
Anyone else having major problems persuading freight forwarders to accept PowerEdge processors
for air shipment because motherboard has lithium metal battery on it ?
Just spent the best part of a week quoting IATA regulations to a number of them.

Yes!!
You have to ship it via a hazardous material and include the MSDS (but there isn't one), so you have to include the Environmental Data Sheet from the Dell Support site (via service tag lookup) and the material spec sheet /data sheet for the battery itself. Pain in the motherboard....

Only RAID batteries in my experience.
