Largest Black Ink Capacity

Hi all!

I evidently used a bad word for junk, so I apologize. I am reposting.

I am looking for an AIO that has a large, black in capacity.

I don't give a whit about colored ink, although sometimes it's nice.

I want to be able to print documents without running out of black every month.

The printer descriptions only discuss how well it handles photos, etc. Any suggestions?

Thank you,

Christine

    Christine,

A Dell inkjet printer is uaually made to print a nice ammount of documents. If you have a large amount od documents, you might want to consider a laser printer. Try going to the Dell Printer Learning Center and you can select what you're looking for and it should help you decide.

    CFMuehling,

I used to own a Dell 964 printer and I used High Capacity Dell Series 5 ink cartridges.

I currently own a Dell V715w Wireless printer. I have Hight Capacity Dell Series 24 cartridges installed and Black has been in for 190 daqys and color, which is getting a little low, has been installed 247 days ago. High capacity Dell Series cartridges last longer.

There used to be a page with some information on Dell Series cartridges and approxmately how long they last, but I cannot find the article.

I appreciate the response, but I don't want the expense of a laser cartridge, etc.

I don't have a large number of documents.  I just don't want to waste so much $$ replacing black ink, with a huge color cartridge sitting there, drying up.

I'm surprised this seems to be such a difficult question.  Even Dell online help wanted me to call.

I don't think so.  That's supposed to be what online help is for.

    Thanks anyway.

But I appreciate the response with an actual experience.

I'm off to take a look.
