Excel Date Format
I want to be able to type 010104 into a cell and have it appear as 01/01/04 or 01/01/2004. If I format the cell with a date format it appears as 04/10/00 (04/10/1900). I have to enter dates of invoices every month and I have to enter about 200 invoices at a time and typing in the / really slows down the process. Is there a way to format the cells so that I don't have to type the / but still get the correct date? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have an Excel file available for download on my web site
www.absupportweb.com/exceldownloads.htm
that will accomplish what you're looking for. It is under the Download, Excel page. Just look for the Sample Date Format file. You may have to edit the cell range in the VBA code. If you need help, let me know.
(Thanks to Chip Pearson at www.cpearson.com for the code)
