My Dell downloads doesn't...
XPS 8500
Just reinstalled Windows 8 from DVD Dell provided after the OS failed.
Now need to get my applications back...
My service tag is in the BIOS.
.NET platform installed
Tried Firefox 31 and IE10
My Dell downloads gives me:
Error
An Application error has occurred. Please contact customer support if this problem persists.

My Dell Downloads was broken, retry the registration or logging in with the username and password you tried on the first attempt. I've been told by one of my Dell contacts its now fixed.
Note Microsoft products are not available from My Dell Downloads, if you are looking for preinstalled Microsoft Office see the instructions here:

And today I get a red message telling me Service Tag is not supported.
I guess I'm going to get back in the phone queue and start over ...
This is a really expensive web browser right now, without my Office Suite installed.
