Sorry if I missed an obvious answer, but I've looked (really!)
I would like to add a second SATA HD to my 8400 and configure as RAID 1. My question is...can this be done on the fly, or do I need to start both disks from scratch, first setting the BIOS to RAID and reinstalling XP? I think it can be done by simply adding the second drive and setting the BIOS for RAID, but want to be sure before I begin.
Also, if this can be done on the fly, does the second drive mirror the first drive (boot drive) automatically as it would in a hot-swap server?
