bad perccli Debian package
Apparently Dell's perccli Debian package (included in PERCCLI_7.2616.0_Linux.tar.gz in the Downloads area) includes an empty "Provides" line. This triggers a lot of problems with Debian's package management tools (apt, apt-cache, ...). The error message is
# apt-cache search bash
E: Problem parsing Provides line of perccli:all=007.2616.0000.0000
E: Error occurred while processing perccli (NewVersion2)
E: Problem with MergeList /var/lib/apt/lists/mylist_main_binary-amd64_Packages
E: The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.
Whoever feels responsible for this, do you think this could be fixed? Just omit the empty Provides line.
Thank you very much
Harri

The Installed-Size entry in the control file is bad, too. perccli64 is about 8.5 MByte, but the control file says its 7 GByte.
