drain flea power (shut down, disconnect power cables and Network cables, hold in power button 20 seconds with cords removed). After flea power drain, system has to set for 3 minutes for DRAC to reset without any power plugged in, then plug in NIC and power but wait 2 minutes before power on to give DRAC time to initialize.
I was able to SSH to the R740 iDRAC. A racreset did not work (although it certainly restarted the iDRAC web server). However, I tried a rollback of the iDRAC firmware to 5.00.20.00 and was able to connect to the web UI after that. Thanks for the suggestions!
On the R730xd, the SSH interface isn't responding. I believe it was enabled, since it is enabled on all my other R730xd's. Any more ideas?
Anyone else know the best way to recover iDRAC 8 when it's inaccessible via web and SSH? I will be on-site with the server in a couple of days, so suspect I will have to power it off completely as my next hope to get iDRAC working again.
If your server have a supported operating system you can try to access iDRAC locally using Local Racadm. You can also force iDRAC for a reboot by using ID button. Please refer below link for details
1. Click the Maintenance tab.
Select Diagnostics.
2. Click Reset iDRAC to reset the iDRAC.
3. Alternately, click Reset iDRAC to Default Settings to reset the iDRAC to the default settings.
Apart from this, if there is a driver failure then I will suggest you to
update your driver software.

Hello skaoit,
I would recommend use the .d7 file for the update:
Find this on the download page for the update:
File Format: An application
File Name: iDRAC_2.82.82.82_A00.exe
Execute the file to extract - firmimg.d7 supply that in the DRAC for Update.
Some troubleshooting steps for when you go onsite:
The first two you can probably try now.
*Clear browser cache
*Try different browser
*Reset the iDRAC
*Drain flea power
