AMD SOFTWARE

I keep getting an error message that tells me that amd software driver is causing a conflict with my power management settings.

I spoke to support, and what they suggested was NOT TO USE sleep or hibernation modes and to use a screen saver. But excuse me, this is a brand new $2400 laptop and I think I should be able to use ALL  its functions and its software.

My laptop is XPS 1.7Q processor 6 gig of ram and 500 gig drive.

Has anybody else had these problems and if so, what did you do to fix them?

thank you very much!

    scottshad,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum,.

What is the AMD Software that is causing the problem and what device does it complement?
